He might if he loses to baneling busts and speedling all ins again
For those who didn't watch Hybrid PL, Soulkey cheesed (speedling all in) Flash in his last BW game ever.

I never saw Flash win a game in bw. I saw him play: loss to Bogus in proleague, 0-3 to Fantasy, and loss to soulkey. 0-5 when I was watching D:

i've been wondering what the fascination wit Flash is all about. why is he so popular? is it just his BW legacy?
he's really good mechanically, but he has probably the boringest style i've ever seen out of a Korean terran player and plays very predictable (and gets punished for it). i have not been able to detect any personality either. keep in mind i didn't follow BW though.

I definitely acknowledge Flash, as the most succesful player in modern SC its just player like him does not need justyfying his losses, his achievements stand on their own you dont need to make up things to plug the empty holes. Just that.
Schelim ---> Its because he portrayed himself as a champion, sometimes he played boring, but what was the spectacle was not how Flash played but rather how someone else tried to "dethrone" him. (thats how i viewed him)
His position in SC2 is NOT like that, will it be ever?
The psychology of competition, was one of the assets of his dominance, weaker players cheesed him so he prepared for that, stronger players wanted to win vs him legitemately but then Flash was prepared with the greedier style. Etc.

Fans in sports like winners and legacies.
Flash wins a lot and has the hype of being a God, so people in the SC2 community have latched onto him. In BW, I'm pretty sure Jaedong and Bisu had bigger fan bases. Flash just has more fans in SC2 because people who didn't follow BW saw all the memes, hype, and want to root for a dude who is known as God of RTS.

Flash and Soulkey to go down 0-2 and then Flash will lose 0-2 to Soulkey and then Soulkey will lose to Maru 0-2

Sounds suspiciously like another "boring" Terran who won four GSL titles.

Yes even if im not really that veteran here, from what i saw there was definitely less God Chanting in BW lrs than it is now ^^

Flash was still super popular in BW and treated like a special guy, but he has a larger fanbase in SC2 over guys like Bisu and Jaedong because from the first time he started playing SC2, casters were hyping him up and people were doing all they could do to find VOD's of the guy. But he's always been treated like a God since his late run of titles. Watch his final between him and Effort. Effort gets a shitty entrance, but Flash gets to come out of a plane and is treated like Jesus Christ.

A lot of people considered his games boring (exceptions being vs TOP on Daybreak and that Ghost Snipe nerf game)
But it was probably because none of the interesting builds worked against the game genie

But im rather talking about inter-TL semantics, Flash was called Flash in BW lrs, there was no need to call him God Flash (he had that nickname but there was no need for that, as Flash = God).
After memes and this every win counting in last breath of Kespa BW, God young ho basically skyrocketed.
Edit: Actually when i think about it, most called him Ultimate Weapon not God. But maybe i have selective memory.

There is no room for every BW story to get brought to the SC2 audience.
I'd say Flash and Jaedong have been transmitted without trouble, I would have thought that the Jangbi/Fantasy storyline would also continue on SC2, but that doesn't seem to happen yet. And for Bisu, not playing any match for so long that people were wondering if he retired didn't help at all I guess.
