It's not the last, they never said that, but they don't have the money secured for IS 3 so far so they can't anounce it they have to find sponsors first I guess

Such events costs a crapton of money (~4000 seats in some prestigious Paris place, casters, musicians, players hotels, ... ) and they need sponsors.

about IS3, Pomf said weeks ago they were losing money with this event at Paris
he also said today during the event that they couldn't announce IS3 (like they announced IS2 during first IS finals) because they didn't know when IronSquid 3 would come/didn't know if IronSquid 3 would be possible to do

Yeah that's what I understood too. Personally I'm confident they're gonna find some sponsors, and anyway they can try to crowdfund it if needed, just like ToTL.
