Stop arguing about what is or isn't killing tournaments. |

He's got this, just has to channel aLive.
But seriously his mind must be so fucked right now after losing that game.

I heard from TwitchTV chat that SWAG originally stood for "Secretly We Are Gay"... dunno how much truth there is in that though.

Is Socke the only one that goes two base templar behind one colossus?
|
Socke is on a hot streak like nothing else. I am rather conflicted about who I want to move through this. I am not sure about Socke's PvP against a player like First.

And Squirtle pioneered a lot of PvT builds.

The steamroll effect QXC talks about can happen to both Toss and Terran at many stages of the game. It's simply because the double AE of toss can be ultra potent, while the DPS of MMM (esp. with EMP) can also be as potent if the Toss engages awkwardly or loses the double AE to vikings and ghosts.
Really unnecessary comment from QXC......

no, i am pretty sure i have seen this several times by multiple protosses. not 100% though.

Oh that's referring to people who overused the word to justify being an idiot.

It really dumbs down the casting, because both sides beeing pro players should obviously know the matchup and should know, where a good engagement is possible and where it might be dangerous to engage (so you better retreat for better positioning.)

Heck no, many Protoss use this style Squirtle, PartinG, Seed, it's REALLY popular on CK and ohana.

And i am only speaking about what QXC is speaking, not this game. It is the same for all races, How many times have we seen that happen. Yesterday Gruppy vs. Yoda for example. Gruppy ahead one bad engagement = lose Grubby wasn't a lightyear ahead like Kas was.
guys just stop that whinning. We all know that Terran cant get "instant" reinforcement when they are on 200 supply. Intelligent Terran players just stay more defensive and get an unbeatable army (which is "op" aswell because they dont need workers). What Kas did was just stupid, i gues he thought that he had by far the stronger army which wasnt the case at all. In the end i can understand the terran, yes it´s frustrating to die with such a big bank etc. but it´s also frustrating for protoss to play against a terran with 180 army supply.

haha I think as a general life rule, one should never listen to anything said in any TwitchTV chat ever.

Kas is pretty much done if he can't kill Socke soon. His style is to get production over upgrades. :s

The snowball effect is much, much harder for Terran to come back from due to the production being much, much slower than Protoss or Zerg for that matter.
He was very much correct. Protoss AoE crushes a big army in the blink of an eye and then rolls into your base still maxed out thanks to warp gates and kills you. That's getting Protossed, and that's what happened.

It's simple. Socke didn't really have any bank. If they both traded equally, Kas would be ahead no matter what since he had a big fat bank. The difference is that when you lose your army on PvT, you lost the game. There is no coming back from that since the protoss if he is smart enough will rush to your production since you take 30+s to rebuild units, while yours are made instantly with cooldown.
+----------+ no travel time ------------- travel time --+
See the difference ?
You are just argueing for the sake of argueing at this point. Nobody is saying that PvT is imbalanced, just pointing out how PvT works and some silly ways to lose it.

Theres your window Kas, PUSH!

Good fight by Kas! Thank god.
