 Stephano vs. IdraGame Two on Antiga Shipyard Idra and Stephano both opted to go for early hatches once again and get a single gas right after laying it down at their natural. They both went for a single spine crawler and baneling nest, mirrored once more in the early game. This continued with them going for their thirds at the same time (Stephano a bit quicker) and both getting an infestion pit at the same time (Idra a bit quicker). A roach on roach battle occurred with Stephano playing attacker to Idra's defender, and Idra forced his teammate back to the middle of the map and back to his base. Stephano stayed in the role of attacker and threw down his fourth base in the middle of the map, while Idra went for the more defensive macro hatch in the main. Stephano took the middle of the map, Idra tried to push the newly made fourth by Stephano, but wasn't able to do anything more than trade armies. Idra was able to get up his own fourth in the middle of the map. Stephano went for a more hydra based army, but wasn't able to match up with the aggressive Idra pushing through into his fourth with his roach based army. Idra took down the fourth and gained a substantial lead up a base. Stephano was able to snipe Idra's fourth with some nice burrowed infestor into infested Terran play, pulling him back into the game. Idra and Stephano's two armies butted head once again, but with Stephano taking a bit of advantage this time having more infestors on his side against Idra's mostly roach army. Idra continued to take down Stephano's fourth, not relenting on the pressure and building up a bigger bank. While the two would trade armies a few more times, Idra was able to remax while Stephano had to start long distance mining. With Idra winning the game of econ, he took the game and series with a 2-0 score! | ||
