Game One on Daybreak

Both players started off with an early hatchery and an early gas. Continuing on the same tech patch, Idra and Stephano went for a baneling nest. Stephano was the first to be the aggressor, coming in with three banes against Idra's spine crawler and rag tag army of a few banes, lings, and a queen. He took out three drones and went straight into lair. The two EG players continued their mirror builds of each other, both taking a third around the same time with Idra a bit quicker with upgrades and up ever so slightly in workers.

Idra opted to go for a more roaches oriented early army, heading for a push in the third, but with some infestors already out for the French Zerg, he held quite easily, and grabbed a 10+ supply advantage. They both decided to go hydras and take their fourth base at the same time, with Stephano not pushing his mid-game supply advantage and them evening out in supplies.

Both maxed out at the same time. Stephano took the role of the attacker, headed to Idra's base, and prepared for the first big brawl of the game...

Then the stream died.
