Yes Violet beat Stephano twice in MLG Summer Championship not too long ago (2-1), (2-0). Most people prefer to place their bets based on head to head results.

Only 2 of the matches in the first knockout rounds will be close
PvP has always been HerO's bogey matchup if Feast has a good day he could cause an upset. Second match is Sase vs Moon - Moon is Moon, he's either godlike or godlike terrible, ZvP is his worst matchup so he'll need to be godlike mode and then he can go on to face his favoured matchups and actually go far in the tournament.

The PvP will be good with a lot of blink stalker.

How did Jeal beat Hero again? I know it was close (2-1), but how were those games?

Targa vs Lucifron could be close. And mayyybe, only maybe ClouD could do something against fOrGG, if fOrGG plays as predictable as always.

The ZvZ is probably the most 1-sided match in the tournament alone on paper, only Leenock and Nerchio have beaten Violet this year in ZvZ whereas Vortix couldn't even beat Stephano in 5 attempts at it who's notoriously bad at it.

Keeping my fingers crossed for elfi.
I believe in you!

I really think LucifroN and VortiX can upset some people playing to their "home" crowd. Stephano vs TaeJa would be great, Stephano vs LucifroN would be great. TaeJa vs VortiX could prove to be amazing as well. Home crowd is definitely looking for a VortiX vs LucfiroN final, and its possible.

Well would be cool if some local hero can win DH =) Predict Luci for his latest performance at WCS, but HerO or TaeJa still hawt.

He is pretty bad at it, losing to Ziktomini last Dreamhack was a crushing low, even if I am British and want to support countrymen it just cant happen to people of Stephano's calibre.

Vortix just 2-1 ed Leenock last week online http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_Ritmix_Russian_StarCraft_2_League_Season_2
And Stephano despite losing 1-4 to Violet last MLG is a HORRIBLE 8-9 vs him With a win this year. At Red Bull Battlegrounds (the big one MC won for $15k)
And Stephano is 9-5 lifetime vs Nerchio including 2-0ing him last Dreamhack.
Did you guys catch WCS last weekend? Stephano finished 7-2 vs Vortix and Lowely.

Online tournament. Korean ping to NA server sometimes can be god awful - I'm presuming NA server cos they need a neutral place for him to face Vortix but the fact it's online and not on same home servers makes the thing irrelevant.

Games have to be played, anything its possible. The bracket is so much difficult for the brothers! I guess Taeja will be one of the finalists, but the other half isnt clear.
Hype is coming

Taeja vs Vortix would be horribly one sided IMO, already saw Vortix play Mvp recently at IEM and it was not pretty.
Of course there's always the chance he has improved immensely in the last month.

Oh course there's always the chance he has improves immensely in the last month. He has improved though, Lucifron plays a similar style to mvp-s mech and Vortix seemed to have a great handle on it at WCG Europe. It definitely won't be that one sided imho.
