Kind of, but it's not especially important. When it comes to seed the RO8 all four matches will be a first qualifier against a second qualifier from a group that wasn't theirs. Assume group A winner is A1, group A runnerup is A2, and so on. A1 will play B2, C2, or D2 B1 will play A2, C2, or D2 .... so on. So if all the "favorites" get by in the first qualifying spot, then it helps. This is usually what happens, but every once in a while you end up with a Flash vs Jaedong (aka leessang) type match in OSL RO8. | ||

Rewatch the game and focus on the production tab. Flash's macro was near-perfect throughout the entire match. All his supply depots finish literally on the dot. And of course, Flash doesn't queue up unnecessary units on his barracks, so he spends his money extremely efficiently (opportunity cost!). | ||

well not anymore but going 3-0 in your group is more important than going 2-1 because you can still get knocked out in a tie breaker situation even if you go 2-1 but the chances of that happening is pretty slim.. | ||
