Not if he plays like this. imagine if he wins playing exactly like this... wow He's looked good in the past and failed in some tough groups, maybe scraping through not playing that well will be a positive thing for him I predict a strong run this time! man, hard being an MKP fan lately T_T creator looked like quite the saving grace until he derped his up/downs haha Time to put more trust in Byun? Not the worst group ever either for him I would say. yeah, byun hasn't played much lately haha. i suppose at least leenock is doing well my top4 favourites haha

Prolly because Taeja all-killed them last time.

I'd rather have it like this, way more content and you can always leave and watch the VODs later if you can't watch the whole thing.
But yeah, this wouldn't work for OGN unless they wanted to commit 5-6 hours to a broadcast.

One of the reasons i prefer GSL is because it is way longer with more games. You know, people are subjective and can enjoy different things for different reasons.

I do not think there is anything wrong with different leagues taking different approaches though. People can just choose the format they enjoy more.

haha might be, but right now, I wouldn't favor Marineking against any1 that is in the Ro16 so far .

Yeah it was like 99% a joke when he said it but I just threw it up there anyway
Artosis called me keezyface so worth it

I also prefer having more games, but switching to bo3 simply wouldn't work for OSL and their TV broadcast. The primary target audience of OGN doesn't want to watch 4-5 hour broadcasts.

Okey you are one of the reasonable ones
Yes, i think everyone should understand that, also, a lot of people like how the OSL format work. I think having different format is a win-win for everyone imho.

Glad Mkp won, he didn't play that good but you have to be lucky sometimes^^ good luck in ro16 mkp!

i wouldn't mind instead of 4 bo1 a day, two days a week, for OGN to do 2 bo3 a day, 4 days a week. but that would cut into their other games

The results seem pretty curious today. Oh well, nobody I hate like lennock. Good job curious and hopefully mkp makes ro8

I keep having to pinch myself to remember that these insane groups are still RO32

Yeah, that likely wouldn't work for them either. They could split it into two bo3s a day, 2 days a week, but it would come with the price of making the tournament take far longer than it does already.
They've been using this formula for years now, though, so it's unlikely they'll change it anytime soon. Maybe we've just been spoiled by all the games Gom lets us have.

I'm also really happy for MarineKing, but I'm still sad the series had to end on such a weird mistake. MC seemed to loose focus for a while, he didn't even try to move his probes from the Banshee.
I was hoping for MC and MKP to advance, so the fact that one of them didn't make it was sad enough.

if curious can play up to his potential all the time i dont think ro4 or even further is unrealistic

Mvp and MMA are not in best conditions. So Taeja should roll that group easy. Then it's up to Mvp and MMA to see who is in a lesser slump.
