He was dead anyway, Im sure he was pretty desesperate at this point. You can't hope to beat mech if you fall behind early. Roaches won't ever kill a max mech army, BL were late and not in number and Ultras melt in general. Plus he was behind in upgrades.

you can see MajOr's hard work in Korea really paying dividends, he looks so good in his play, and he's gotten more mature too which is always great to see

Oh I know but still would have preferred he just went ultras instead of bl's when there were already so many vikings out. Losing his third to 2 tanks was really really bad to. In general major played really good and vibe kinda got rolled xD
