By that argument a player who never goes to Korea is never able to be a top player. That's retarded.

Right now he is the best foreign zerg and at about the level of your average Korean Zerg(Which isn't a bad thing) Average korean zerg. /facepalm MLG and GSL are very different tournament formats, no one can deny stephanos credentials at an MLG format but I think to be seriously considered in the top zerg debate you have to show something at GSL
After watching Blizzard Cup, I think it's clear Stephano does worse in a format like GSL where his opponents can prepare just against him for a week... he does the same thing over and over again.

wow the next 2 series are going to be sick no matter what happens. polt/sase itself is going to be great and then we get rematch polt/stephano which is always interesting or stephano/sase foreigners battling it out.

Stephano is a Great player, but I don't think it's fair to put him over a period of time in the same league as MKP

I hope Polt wins vs. Sase, despite him being a foreigner and having a crazy good run so far. I gotta see Stephano vs Polt again.

WoW Tasteless just consistently talks out of his ass. I can tolerate most of what the whiners cry about, but it's actually kind of embarassing now.

none of these arguments matter. when the top koreans themselves recognize stephano's skill, what's the point of worrying about random TL forum users? the best players clearly agree hes a very very top notch player, so placing an arbitrary rank is just useless.

To be fair, that isn't true. He does compete with the best, just not in Korea, so far.
