This is not the place to talk about LoL viewership.
This is also not a place to caster bash/balance whine/flame, etc.
Please don't argue about how many views LoL has, or which game is better, or we will be upset. (added page 174)
Also, lay off Scarlett please. (added page 227) |

I think polt's tvz is his worst matchup myself. He lost to sheth after beating stephano at MLG. At the same time Stephano's ZvT is probably his worst matchup atm. Worse is a relative term though, lol. I wonder how good his ZvZ is against Koreans (like Zenio or Nestea specifically). Stephano 2-0'd Zenio in the NASL3 qualifier. I've always thought that the top foriegnors had an edge on Koreans in ZvZ, ever since Dimage defeated Nestea.
Not true at all. Stephano also lost to Life in the Iron Squid group stages.

They don't. Foreigners are more likely to win in PvP, then ZvZ, and finally TvT when it comes to mirrors. And I'd say each mirror there's a higher chance to win in than in any of the non mirrors.

Just want Leenock, MVP(2011 version), and July in groups. The rest can be any other badasses.
Leenock and MVP to group D for sick zvt/tvt group. July can go anywhere

When did the majority of the players arrive?
I hope we won't have too many folks affected by traveling and jet lag, it's always unfortunate to see, mostly Korean players, play weirdly worse than they do usually and often you cannot exclude jet lag from one of the possible sources of that.

PvP is where there isn't a gap at all. HuK and Naniwa have no issues beating the best Korean Protosses, and HuK's amazing runs vs. top Korean Protosses puts him at Top 3 in the world in that MU. Socke and Elfi have their moments, too, without practicing in Korea.
ZvZ, there is a small gap, as in top foreigner Zergs are able to snipe top Korean Zergs, but the top Korean Zergs are still the favorites.
TvT, there is a huge gap. Top foreigner Terrans do not hold a candle to top Korean Terrans in this MU.

I don't think many got there with too much time to rest, and I know Leenock, Oz, and I believe Jjakji had a pain in the ass trip getting stuck in Japan for 30 hours (I say I believe Jjakji, I know he was stopped over in Japan with them but not 100% certain he had to wait around on the same flights).

Games start in 30 minutes right ?

I hope MVP can show us what he's made of. I miss his beast mode

Let's hope most of them can still perform well somehow. It's just kinda an insurmountable issue. People would have to arrive a week earlier or so just that traveling has most likely no further effect on their tournament play, but of course something like that isn't feasible for a thousand reasons.

It's definitely an issue, but at this point I think it should just be considered another aspect of a tournament. Most of the time a Korean is going to come out on top, let's find out which ones can handle all aspects of the tournament weekend =)

IPL confirmed in one of their IPL threads that there will be free 480 vods for everyone. Not sure if they said anything about how quickly they would be up though.

From the IPL's Topic - http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=325767
"VODs in 720p and 1080p will be available to subscribers. Non-subscribers will only have access to 480p and below."
I'm not sure they have said how fast they will be up tho.
