game 2 Stephano barely made any mistakes, was a relative macro game. Took 4 bases , MKP was on 3 bottomright on Antiga Shipyard. MKP turtled and decided to do double medivac double drops on Stephano's new 4th and 3rd simultaneously, as well as main. Stephano defended perfectly with barely any damage taken, he had creep spread to the middle and had map control with ling/festor/ultra for a good 5-10 minutes in this point. Problem was, he left MKP max out with no real aggression, once he maxed on a critical # of tanks and marauder/marine bioball, he decisively crushed Stephano's army, pushed into the 3rd and Stephano's army had no answer he had to gg out. He was teching double spire to Broods, but it was way too too late. problem was that Stephano was behind since MKP's third was a lot ahead of him. I think he had to go mutas in order to keep the tank count low since he was behind. But seems like Stephano doesn't go muta much. Although MKP's drops didn't do much, he only lost marines (and some medivacs) which just fed up supply for the tanks. And MKP made the tank push before the switch to broods could be made. | ||
