GOM streams tend to lag for some reason, therefore when the casters go on break and come back (cause u need to be able to hear to know if you're fast forwarding or not), hit "c" on your computer to fast forward, when you hear the noises start to skip, then hit "z" to return back to 1.0x speed IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ!!! | ||

Alicia absolutely could have won that game several times and just didn't. He could have permanently forcefielded the ramp and destroyed all the tech. This is why Losira pulled all the drones and attacked sentries. However, Alicia never even warped in a third sentry. 2. For a moment I thought Alicia was just using the zealots to kill off the spores. With 2-3 phoenix and the 2 void rays he already had this would also have allowed him to kill off the main. Losira had no anti air; he had chosen to upgrade roaches rather than get hydras or any other tech. Of course, Alicia hadn't made any more air, so the queens were more than enough and his killing the spore really accomplished very little. This suggests his warp into the main was probably an impromptu decision based on the opportunity presenting itself rather than a a planned build. Had it been his plan all along, one of these options would have allowed him to turn it into a game ender. Of course, another option is to just use this attack to keep zerg pinned back and force units while he takes a third, but that didn't happen either. 3. He could absolutely have taken out the third. There was at least one clear point towards the end where 2 good forcefields would have cut off the roaches. This is a standard options as 2 forcefields placed between the hatch and the ramp makes it basically impossible to engage. This is something you can see often in pressure builds. The zerg is forced to either go around and thus fully commit their army or back off and wait for the hatch to die. Alicia didn't do this, but he showed a few seconds later that he did have forcefields available. Throughout all of this Alicia was often floating 1k minerals and several hundred gas. That means that even with his poor tactics, he might have been able to win with just macro. | ||
