I showed up midway through the game, when Happy had his marauder ball, and was nuking everywhere. I stood behind Happy's computer, so I saw only his PoV. It was really a funny thing, Happy hunches over his keyboard, and moves his mouse with his whole arm, not just his wrist, so his playing looks really violent. Right behind him was Beastyqt and some other Empire staff. (Kas was playing at the time, then he came over as the game was still going on.) I told Beasty how disappointed I was that he lost in his group, because I had predicted him to do so. Meanwhile, of course, Happy is still playing, and scanning and nuking something every couple seconds. I keep telling Beasty how imbalanced terran is and he keeps telling me how imbalanced protoss is. The game keeps going on, and every time there's a big battle that the terran wins, or every time Happy EMP's I point at the screen and say "SEE?!?!" and every time they fight and dts or chargelots kill something than Beasty turns to me and tells me terran can never win. It just goes back and forth like this, because that's basically how the game played out. At one point we didn't see ToD's army on Happy's view for five minutes and we were joking that Happy was playing against the AI or that ToD had gone to go buy a kebab. Beasty turned to me at one point and said "You know that sad zealot fanclub? We should have a sad marine fanclub. Where are the terrans? All dead! Maybe a sad ghost fanclub!". I told him that ghosts are never sad, because they never die, and that maybe it should be a sad battlecruiser fanclub. And then the game just never ended, and Kas came over and said that after this game, Tal'Darim should be banned from the tournament because we've all seen enough of it by now. He asked what the score was and started laughing when we told him it was game one. Meanwhile Happy is still hunched over his computer and keeping a ridiculously useless apm. The DH admins start getting really bored, but the Empire guys are joking with the fans and making comments about Happy's playstyle. Really funny. At the end of the game, someone puts up the cast, and we get to see Bitter and Day9 looking delirious. Hilarious. | ||
