If you don't know how to post in a live report thread by now, be advised: don't whine about game balance and don't bash players/casters/interviewers/staff/other posters. We are monitoring this thread closely.
Stop with the USA USA chant shit. Further offenses beyond page 493 will be met with bans. You've been warned. |

This is why icefrog (DotA's developper) is trying to make dota a better spectator sport with the new changes (giving incentive for the pros to be more aggressive, which is working splendidly), however LoL is staying the same (just compare the amount of early game damage towers do in LoL compared to DotA).

I never understood Fighting games very well, but how is it possible the grand finals have such a huge skill gap? In SC:BW terms, are there bonjwas in SSF4 or whatever we're watching? If so, what are the names?

A fat guy vs a skinny chick : this fight clearly is imbalanced

I don't see what LoL has ANY BUSINESS on this stream, or in association with SC2. (Other than I'm assuming they are sponsoring IPL3). It feels like an attack on the sc2 community attempting to poach players over to playing LoL. LoL has a pretty fair and large population of players as it is, but that is not indicative of what is truly an "E-Sports" Caliber Game. On the totem pole of "Dota" games, (What was the acronym?Moab?) Having played all games extensively they go along the lines of Dota --> Hon--> LoL in terms of skill. Frankly, with all the automatic defensive abilities and catering to casuals LoL should not appeal to the super competitive SC2 gamers, Riot now that they have the player-base needs to evolve their game from what is Casual to Competitive.
Any thoughts? Obviously this has nothing to do with IPL3 itself, I love the event.
Riot has -lots- of money and they made it rain on IPL.

So what's with the street fighting scene? I remember watching Justin Wong YEARSS ago, and then someone just posted a Latif vs. Daigo video, and I remember watching Daigo back in the day as well.
Is the SF scene just dominated by a few top tier players or something? I mean, with BW all the original greats were superseded by new generations of players..

Where can I see the current stream numbers?

That's what I'm thinking. This is my first time seeing it and it looks quite awful, don't know why anyone would want to play it or watch it. pretty much one of the most fun games to play atm, especially if you have friends. protip: Starcraft looks boring as fuck if you come from the FPS/ Fighting game scene But you are not "forced" to watch it, if you don't like it. I'm not sure at which point you're being forced to watch LoL. The fact it's aired on sc2 stream as well and sc is scheduled later just for this? If you find sc2 boring or anything at an event, then u just switch back to your fps'y, or fighting game's stream.

They would've Lost Way more viewers, but most SC2 viewers just left the stream open while waiting for the Steph vs STC game... if this event began with all LoL games they'd only get a few thousands of viewers at most.

FFFFUUUUU dignitas is ahead.. WHY GOD WHY ?

If they stick to the schedule than we should have SC on the other stream in 13 minutes.
If they don't than I will have to join the hater camp XD

This. They sponsored their own tourney and are a big sponsor to this entire IPL3 event.
