You know, most people reading this are going to think you're joking...
But he isn't. It's literally go fuck around for 40min-1hour and then a fight. How is this even fun to watch?

I don't see this LoL match ending in the next 20 mins...the semi's will definitely be delayed..

AGreed 100%!
dota is more of a players game, i don't enjoy watching it at all...
sc2 is the opposite, i enjoy watching but gets frustrated playing.

Actually not true at all. When LoL was at Dreamhack they had over 100,000 viewers i believe, some LoL streams have had 140,000+ That's because it was advertised for all the playerbase (mostly casual) in the front page of the client. So viewer counts supposedly no longer count if the developer behind the game actually supports their E-Sport players? (don't claim Blizzard does, why else do we have to pay for playing in other reagions and are we still asking for LAN and good ladder maps?) That was by the way an embedded stream you had to click to activate so it is not that everyone who played LoL that day got counted as a viewer.

Why oh why is this crap still on T_T

I am actually one of the people who plays LoL pretty seriously and it's actually really, really fucking interesting and exciting to watch. People who think it's boring probably don't play LoL on a respectable level.

My big issue with LoL casting is that it is (to me) so incredibly dull for such large parts of the game. Keep in mind that games of LoL can easily last for over half an hour of actual time, not Blizzard game time. I know it's not going to be like that for a big fan of LoL, but for casual watchers, I'm fairly certain that watching an SC2 game with a good caster will be more entertaining than watching a LoL game with a good caster.
Still, I find these large team battles very fun to watch, but that's about it.

That's what I'm thinking. This is my first time seeing it and it looks quite awful, don't know why anyone would want to play it or watch it. pretty much one of the most fun games to play atm, especially if you have friends. protip: Starcraft looks boring as fuck if you come from the FPS/ Fighting game scene But you are not "forced" to watch it, if you don't like it.

Such an awesome event having such an epic fail as deciding to show LOL for a few hours. I'm disappointed hopefully the games are worth waiting for. Its getting late in Europe.

This it the reason why I don't want to support MOBA games as esport. They really aren't it's just the hardcore fans that want it to be really badly and refuse to face the facts. what facts? that you dont like it? The fact that it's terrible to watch unless you played the game a lot or have someone very knowledgeable to watch it with.
That's opinion, not fact rofl. Learn to word.
