If you don't know how to post in a live report thread by now, be advised: don't whine about game balance and don't bash players/casters/interviewers/staff/other posters. We are monitoring this thread closely.
Stop with the USA USA chant shit. Further offenses beyond page 493 will be met with bans. You've been warned. |

League of legends is fun and we should support all of esports. I've followed esports for a decade and a lot of it, LoL included, is not worth supporting Then you're hardly worth talking to. Hey man, support Sports! Watch: Soccer Football Basketball Baseball Tennis Hockey etc. Just doesn't make any sense. You support the game you like, you don't have to support them all. Just like you don't support every sport if you like lets say Soccer. You don't have to support them, but you don't have to spend time complaining and undermining them either. If you don't like them, just don't watch. You don't have to hate on everything else just because it's not your favorite things, there are other people in the world who like different things, you know.
I am not hating on LoL. I am hating on the fact that I can't watch SC2. Especially if there is 1 more EUROPEAN as foreigner in the tournament. And almost no europeans can watch that match. Just seems really stupid to do from a perspective from IGN.
Also IPL is originally a SC2 tournament. IPL1 and IPL2 only had SC2 on them, and when IPL3 got announced it was also only SC2. Later LoL got added.
Another problem is that most of the crowd there is there for SC2. Now you have a incredibly empty crowd.
So I am not hating on LoL (I actually enjoy it a little, since a friend of mine is playing at a pretty high level) It is just stupid from IGN to do this and I wanted to show an argument for the people who keep saying. WATCH ALL OF E-SPORTS OR YOU ARE KILLING IT!!!!

Yeah, the fact that there's like 20,000 heroes with all sorts of abilities that aren't immediately apparent...Its virtually impossible to just sit down and watch it. At least with SC2 its pretty doable if you know what an RTS game is. LoL has 0 entertainment value unless you've played it a lot.

I like watching DOTA but LoL just doesn't require nearly enough skill to be fun to watch, DOTA just completely outclasses it.

Go stephano!! i go to bed (Eu) qq

It's like watching a televised poker match, where, before they go to the final table, they show a EXCITING and TOP-LEVEL match of Hungry Hungry Hippos, only its a best of 3 and each match lasts like 30 minutes.
Yeah, it's elitist, but this is TL.net, and "OMG hurting e-sports!" is not really a good argument. There are many, many SC2 tournaments, and I could easily live without the ones that force-feed other games.
It's IGN's schedule, and it's my fault I didn't read it and know this was coming - but I don't have to like it, and I don't have to watch it.

Ah, it's like when I first got into SC2, no idea what's happening at all.

well bye guys wp ipl wp T.t

Wow, the quality is so weird on Caesars, looks much better on Bally's.

OMG Lucky smashed MMA 3-0??? Bwahahah best day ever! FXOboss must be pleased. Now all I need is for Stephano to win the tournament and IPL3 will officially be the best SC2 tournament ever.

That break is indeed annoying.

ok how is this game different from war3?
|
wow, can a foreigner actually win this tournament?
|
I heard LoL takes 3x as much skill as sc2.

They plan their schedule according to their local time.

I like watching DOTA but LoL just doesn't require nearly enough skill to be fun to watch, DOTA just completely outclasses it. I agree, watching DOTA 2 felt a lot more exciting and more like watching starcraft, watching LoL just doesn't do it for me

IGN why do you have 2 streams but show LoL on both? Don't hate us euro people. It's almost 1AM here and gotta watch this crap isn't fun.
