Dont want to see similar hate going on here as we saw for SC2 on other forums. Agreed, If I understood correctly this is the FINALS of the WoW tourney, should be some pretty high level stuff. I haven't watched WoW before, but should be worth watching. It's hardly worth watching if you don't know anything about arena to be honest. But if you want to know how it looks like, its another story.

Is there a playlist for the Invitational somewhere? I find the music incredibly fitting for sc.

I'd like to see that tbh
Think that happened at MLG after the MC match possibly? MLG staff asked for an interview he told them to fuck off.

Im sure the kpop is as vacuous and banal as our own pop music, but hey - we don't know ^^

Two teams of 3 fighting in last man standing games in specific PvP built arena's.
Edit: Is last man standing the right term in a team game? Whichever team dies first loses the game is what I mean, but I'm tired.

he left WoW because he didn't like Cataclysm, but his previous work involving WoW had high visibility in the WoW community so he still gets asked to cover WoW stuff at times

I feel for the WoW players , they have no tournaments at all.
Can't they actually set up tournaments themselves nowadays though?
I'm not that active in Cataclysm, but I'm pretty sure I've seen an interface option to organize games between two preset teams. Though I might have got the wrong idea as well, but that's how it looked like.
It seems like a nice feature to help fans kickstart the scene if they're dedicated enough.

so, how many will stick around for the last bit of tdays stream?

I have no idea how 3v3 looks nowadays, nor whether it's being commentated by anyone decent, but I'd encourage people to have a watch if they're curious and have nothing else to get on with. 3v3 can be pretty entertaining/intense if the games are actually good and the comps being run match up well.

The community although much less prominent with the release of SC2 still exists and a majority of them would love WoW to peak back to its former success. Problem is you need to be a decent player yourself to understand anything at all. it's kinda like that for sc2 too if you read the comments in these threads xD but sc2 is entertaining even if u don't knw much but like u said u rly don't get much out of wow pvp if u don't know anything about it
