Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

Strategy and positioning are amazing, and an integral part of the game. But it's not fun when two tank lines are just sitting there, scans going off every 20 seconds to get 2 tank shots off, etc. Strategy and positioning are fun to watch in games like 1.6 or quake because they're so fast paced, and there are so many other factors going on. It's very similar, there are many other things going on in SC2, but sitting here waiting for scans isn't what I'm keen on watching, when the "action" is what Day9 and Wheat are focusing on, I would rather watch their (doubtless) amazing macro.

For players of other games (I was a fighting game player) you need to have a certain amount of mental fortitude to succeed in a tournament with this many games played; as the weekend goes on your concentration weakens and you start making lots more mistakes. I expect the people working from the Open bracket to perform worse as the weekend goes on. *edit* This is one of the reasons why I respect July even more. If you go forth and kill people very quickly (almost on autopilot) it's much less mentally draining than playing a bunch of long epic games. July did exactly the right thing to not get as tired, and he was able to do so in a dominating fashion to boot.

TvT is not just an exciting mirror matchup, it's an exciting matchup! There's none of this ball vs ball stuff.

What they have right now is awesome and it kind of saddens me to see some people not being thankful for how far MLG has come. And I don't think MLG is going to sit there and be satisfied, I think they're going to keep pushing and try to put on the best show possible. yeah. I mean compared to Dallas, this is a dream come true

I feel like drewbies composition was just so off that if he had established the arial dominance and then got a couple of BCs he coulda taken that game very quickly. However I'm pretty new to terran and generally bad at analyzing games so I could be very wrong.
