Delphi+kara instead of Sheth+Moonan, make it happen :D

We've already picked up an EU 2v2 professional team to fill the slot and are waiting for SeleCT to name the replacement for his team. I will make an announcement once everything is all figured out.

kAra and Delphi or Aristo and Cubert if you need replacements. Undoubtly Europes best 2v2 teams. Ai also has a good 2v2.

Official Announcement
Unfortunately, we've been informed that FXOSheth and FXOMoonan will be unable to play in the tournament. However, we are excited to announce that Dahli and Pythonas from team MYM will be filling the empty slot. The Danish brothers have been playing together professionally since the days of SC:BW so we're looking forward to some awesome games from this veteran team!
Edit: SeleCT will still be playing with OpTiKzErO as originally planned.

I haven't bothered to involve myself too much so far, but seeing that a European team got a spot makes me want to creep out of my little hideout and show some love for the tournament hosts/and players.
This is great! I am delighted to see Dahli and Pythonas in this tournament. Dahli and Pythonas work excellent together and I'd say they are absolutely one of the strongest lineups Europe has to offer at the moment. I do think they will have to bring their A-game to come out on top of this (to compensate for the delay-issues! ), but the most important thing about them is that they seem to be a bit unorthodox compared to most other teams around. It will definately be an interesting watch.

Now I'm not going to go out here and trashtalk any of these teams, or anyone for that matter, but I would like to disagree slightly with your opinion here. Aristeo and Cubert dominated 2v2 in Europe for a long time. No one is going to deny this. But cubert stopped playing sc2 a few months ago and I don't know if he's fully returned, seeing him online only now and then, and more importantly if they have regained what they had before he left. Cubert and Aristeo had quite a lot of timings nailed down in the early game, and punished everyone that came into close proximity because the 2v2 meta game wasn't really established yet, as well as any protoss team being less viable due to the lack of solid "non-panicking/non-crazyboy" strategies. They had a solid mid/late-game as well, but I would definately say that the early game was their strongest element. Now, not writing a story about the 2v2 legends, just trying to say that I believe several teams have caught up to them.
Then you have Kara and Delphi. Both Ronald McGrandmasters, so great players undoubtfully. They are also doing well in most tournaments they play in, and are among the highest ranked teams on the ladder. Yet, they have recently switched back from TZ to their main races, PZ, so it will be interesting to follow them and see how it affects their play.
Anyways, what I wanted to express was the following: When you'r stating something as bold as "Undoubtly Europes best 2v2 teams", I get a little bit disappointed. Maybe they are the best, maybe they'r not. Hard to tell. The problem is that 2v2 has a lot smaller community and definately a smaller fanbase than 1v1. Additionally, people are way more ignorant as to whom are among the top teams.
Currently, it seems to be really hard to make a name for yourself, because there's few-to-no platforms to show yourself off at (Even though EU has been hosting small (but still excellent) tourneys weekly for months, EG Master's cup has picked up 2v2 as a small, but still important element, I guess the ladder counts for something and now PTSL arrives at our door - A big step in the right direction for 2v2).
I don't know what you base your statement on, but maybe it's just your opinion, which of course you are fully entitled to, so no harm feelings ^-^ I just feel sorry for the other, imo. at least 4-6 other teams in Europe that are in a position worthy of rivaling for such a "title". Maybe Arne and Vipro are the best (<3)? But since they haven't been picked up by a pro team like MyM (yet) and they don't have fanboys shouting their names out on the TL-forums, noone hardly notice them, even though they are filled with awesomeness. Share the love <3
But yeah, this has been kind of off-topic I guess. Loads of props to the ptsl hosts. I'm really looking forward to the tournament PyDahli fighting!!!

I don't agree with you in a one, we were most macro-oriented and defensive AT and rarely lost long games. Thats why we had big winrate against other top-teams, who had problems with early or late game. Because of that one top-team in Europe doesn't exist, the same as on US server. 5+ teams can win each other with nearly 50% wr.

gogo Jonas and Benjamin :D you've got this guys <3

Unfortunately we were put into a bit of a bind when we got the news that the FXOpen team might not be able to play but luckily we had both mousesports and MYM contact us after we had announced the tournament inquiring about any open spots which we didn't have at the time. So, it was decided we would contact both of the teams and the first one to reply would be given the team spot.
We're extremely excited for the tournament and can't believe its just over 24 hours away already. We can't wait to see how 2v2 will play out in a professional tournament!

GLHF with your tournament! Great to see 2v2 tournaments coming up!
Looking forward to Richy and Snute winning PTSL 2!

I'm so excited for this. I still remember the epic SeleCT/OpTiKzErO run vs tehredbandit/ProTech. Excited for EG (Axlav/StrifeCro) - they were absolute beasts but haven't heard about their 2v2 recently. The coL players are also all accomplished individually, so it'll be nice to see what they'll bring to the table. GL HF
