He didn't know it was next to a pylon, he only had sight for the plant. Hence the conclusion: if the protoss has spotter pylons and pays attention he is immune to Nydus. So for Nydus to work offensively like that, you have to be playing a crappy player. That's why Nydus is bad, although I still see potential for using Nydus like it was used in BW, or even using it like proxy pylons are used by Toss, to eliminate the reinforce distance for your pushes - you even get some creep as a bonus for your hydras to micro on and off, AND if the engagement isn't going well you just zip your whole army up in the worm and the Toss can't touch it. | ||

And they're the kind of unit that can get you back into a game if you're behind. CatZ was just so far behind it didn't matter what he did tbh. He was basically fucked as soon as the nydus failed. | ||

I don't think he can be that upset going 2-1 versus MC and winning a macro game, and he invited the cannon rush by going 15 hatch 17 pool with a probe seeing it all. | ||
