Yeah the aoe fight is futile against protoss I think his army composition was bad though, either more mech or less mech.

this game reminds me of the DH final naama vs mana on XN , mana waited to have both coloss and storm and raped the tanks + bio , incredible play

Don't make that game about balance. Fenix did not have enough production facilities so he could not reinforce. He should have won that game.

mana used immortal/speedzeal/HT's always vs this compo always, never collosus get your facts straight plz. And ye I know because I was basicly next to them.

Anyone else got music and game sounds coming out of right earphone and not left and commentary coming out of both?
this is so annoying

Issues already discussed aside, today was a good show. Probably the best casting so far in NASL. And while it was not bad to begin it, I feel there have been huge improvements each and every day. As NASL irons out the occasional hiccups it'll be grand.

Where can i find Chill's über neutral cast?

Day 2 and they still havnt fixed soundproblems? i dont feel sorry for all the ppl who payed 25$ in advance, but srsly, will the NASL now run forever with this bad quality? ^^

Posted this at WellPlayed.org but crossposting here since I'm not sure who reads what...
It sounds like they added some broadcast compression (which is AWESOME, and was much needed), but it also sounds like the bitrate is much lower. Unfortunately this is a pretty ugly combo ... the compression really accentuates sibilance and the low audio quality turns that sibilance into a very grating noise. Very fatiguing to listen to, and they haven't even been talking for 15 minutes.
It almost seems like the commentator audio/video is capped over Skype or something. It's got that slight random choppiness that you get with webcam video, and the audio that's slightly delayed from the video. Not sure why it's being done this way... it really doesn't do the broadcast justice.

And Fenix already has more Raxes than he had at the end of the last game.

I need to post something about the stream...I am watching the free stream atm and I have to say, this is pretty good. I like it, keep it up!

I had an issue with some streams being smoother and less laggy than others. The one at Wellplay.org was ran at 720p with no problems. However, the one one at Justin.TV was very choppy. I dont know why this happens, but I have noticed it every night.
I really like the casts and can see it improving over time. Also, I think people are really under estimating the amount of content the NASL is pushing out over night. If you go to another website, like GiantBomb.com(with Brad Shoemaker, a supporter of all things Starcraft), they do not even attempt to put as much content as the NASL. They are staffed by people who have been producting videos for years and are supported by Wiskey Media, that has been making websites for years. When they run a live show, it takes their entire staff(which, by all acounts, is larger than the NASL) Even they don't try to push out 4+ hours of video a night five nights a week.
NASL is building itself from the gound up and is going to have some issues to start. Over time, they will grow and improve. The best thing we can do is provide constructive critisim and assist where we can.
Here is my suggestion: You dont need analyze for the entire match up. The early phases of the game are pretty slow and saying they are going for a standard opening is totally fine. This is a good place to provide some light humor, banter or give some character to the players.
Keep it up guys and good luck, Plansix

To the people that feel GSL is more epic. It could be that GSL games are like NFL playoff games--win or wait for next season. NASL (atm) is the regular season. There are some key highlighted games or matchups. There's an urgency vibe/feel for the GSL, less with the NASL.
For me, NASL has improved a lot--commentating, lag, editing, etc. I don't have time to watch all the games (didn't paid for vods either). I just check their listing and see which games I would enjoy watching and tune in to watch those games/matchups. I will pay for vods next season after a lot have ironed out. I did the same thing for GSL.
NASL will improve and bring in more fans, that aren't the "core" fans. This will expand Esports, expand SC2. With time, I think they will.
Keep up the good work, iNcontrol and NASL!
