Yes the lag didn't occur in battles but if you've played in a game that spikes every 5-10 seconds it's really frustrating and screws up your rhythm and macro a lot. I disagree with what incontrol said about the "no excuses" thing, though lag may not have decided the game but it definitely contributed to the result.

Yeah lag had no effect whatsoever ....

Why don't TSL do live casting? Then you will actually see the lag like the last game instead of casting from replays.

even if there weren't constant spikes, there was still a bad delay the entire game for rainbow
another series ruined by lack of LAN option. Really wish we could have neutral hosts over a virtual LAN in SC2 like Garena in Wc3 and iCCup in BW. These international tournaments are really suffering because of it.

Not saying lag caused rainbow to lose, but lag impacts the game more than what incontrol is saying. Even if it does not directly impact the gameplay, it does a lot to you mentally and makes you constantly frustrated at something you shouldn't be.

The game was already by that point. He couldn't micro his marines and lost his basically all-in bunker rush at that point. The first attack didn't matter because he either attacked there and won the game or the game was over. However, the game was over because his first attack couldn't have won either.

If you want to not blame the lag, then your argument has to be Sheth scouting the forward barracks won the game. The first push meant nothing in the scheme of the game.
