That is TotalBiscuit, check out more of his games for the IPL by going to http://www.ign.com/ipl/videos and then filtering by his name under Commentators!

TotalBiscuit, you are doing magnificent work as caster. I enjoy your voice immensely.

I also really love the HUD that IGN has made. How is it that the GOM English stream is so ugly, presentation-wise?

Just wanted to say from what i have seen so far the IGN and it's IPL concept are proving to be a resounding success; the time, money and effort that has been funnelled into production value is proving to pay off; when you get a bunch of top level players together they are going to produce great games - we have seen that from tournaments since the inception of SC2 but adding production value makes the IPL something to watch

Production values are great, excited to see the league develop. The only thing perhaps lacking is in the commentator department; most of them are fine/great doing the play by play, but with the exception to Painuser who clearly plays and understands the game, none of them provide much in the way of analysis. This sort of thing is just a matter of finding the right people, and as the league develops I'm sure a lot of them will be interested.

I find it difficult to find the overall results and watch / find videos in proper order without being spoiled.

I'm not sure if anyone has the same problems I'm having here, but apart from that I have to say the production values are amazing and this is the best-looking tournament out there.

It's unfortunate that there's almost too much SC2 out there to watch it all right now. I feel like this is the best product available from a spectator's standpoint, but seeing as I'm already invested in the GSL and the talent and prize pool are higher there, I'm not sure I'm going to have time to watch it all with everything that's going on in SC2 at the moment.
This space for rent.

Amazing production quality , only criticism i would make is about the vod system , it's hard to get the videos without getting spoiled. It would be great to have a "spoiler free" tournament bracket that yhou could "spoiler" the result of one round, one step at the time , with the link to the videos. Otherwise it's just pure awesomeness

Everyone's hit the nail on the head so far, for the most part. IPL is doing great.

Once Season 2 gets rolling it seems reasonable to expect that the quality of games will get even better as more and more top players take part from around the world.

My only concern is the commentating. It has certainly been good thus far, but I think it may be the weakest link for the IPL right now. I want to be clear that I am not complaining. The IPL has been very well rounded so far. Speaking in a hypothetical tone, I feel that once game quality improves in the near future to be on par with the production quality, the only thing left with any room for improvement will be commentating.

The commentators you have all bring something to the table. My only suggestion going forward would be to make SURE that there is always at least one commentator in a game that understands the game well enough to appreciate what is going on. I'm down for keeping the play-by-play commentators if it tickles everyone's fancy, but making sure they are matched up with someone who understands the complexities of the game seems important to me. Nothing pains me more than watching the very best starcraft players going at it in an environment where their greatest plays and biggest mistakes might not be properly recognized.

FYI, this is not what colour commentary means. The commentators are play-by-play, colour commentators are analysts, so what you really want are colour commentators paired with play-by-play.

Im not sure if this is the place to put this, but when watching VODs, if one is left paused for to long, it was impossible for me to start the video again, it was constantly buffering.

Thanks for your feedback! Did this happen for one particular video or has it been happening to you in multiple videos? What is your browser?

Thanks again, I'll forward this problem to our engineers!

I'm also having problems with the VODs. It happens with all of them and in addition to the player getting stuck on buffering, it would also go back to the beginning at arbitrary points in the VOD, but the tracker would remain at its current location. Seems to me like a problem with the metadata.

We've been having that problem with Axslav vs Incontrol game 3, are you saying it's happening to other games as well? Do you know which games you were experiencing that problem with?

Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the correction, I fixed it. The demeaning little tidbit on the end wasn't really necessary though, I wasn't taking a shot at you. But I guess I could understand why you would do that. It can be pretty annoying when someone uses the wrong words and it seems like they have no idea what they are talking about.

I dont think it was the video, but it was TT1 vs Fenix Game 1, it was my first time watching a VOD and something came up making me pause, it was open for a few hours under a tab. My browser is FireFox

You need to keep him on board. He is what sepreates you from the other leagues (ie actual casting instead of blabbing about stuff outside the game and making terrible jokes)

here to play.
