Hmm, I think there are actually 5 rounds. Bomber's route was: Round 1: W/O Round 2: Random opponent Round 3: MakaPrime Round 4: TeriousfOu Round 5: Bracket finals If this is correct then that means that it's a 32 round bracket. Assuming only the winner of the bracket moves on to Code A, then there are 16 brackets being played since there are 16 spots available. I could be totally off though so someone please correct me if I am! In the original post on Gom's website (linked below) they said that these qualifiers were open to 160-172 of the highest ranked Korean players. In addition to these players, any foreigners who want to sign up can also play. So there are probably about 180 players total, to be cut down to a total of 16. http://www.gomtv.net/2011gslsponsors2/news/62334 So basically, the format will be 180 --> 128 --> 64 --> 32 --> 16. You have to win four matches to qualify, but a large number of players will get a bye in round 1 like Bomber did. So the winner of all 16 "mini-brackets" will advance. If this is being run like it was in the past, then they usually have 4 different start times (11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm or something). 16/4 = 4, so I assume that four players from each session will be advancing.

Or Torch? He came so close last time and I feel like he should be in too.

No one (except for Moonglade) from the GSL WC is trying to qualify in Code A. DoA says this is 99.99% confirmed. Torch is trying to qualify but hasn't played yet.
