For a long time, nobody made them, and if they DID, they would be sissies with them. They would go to a ramp and see a bunker and run away. The simple fact is that hellions are cheap. They do not cost gas. Throwing 4 of them into your enemy base, EVEN IF YOU KNOW THEY WILL DIE, is worth it. It's almost impossible not to kill 8 workers and pay for themselves unless your opponent plays perfectly or you micro bad. (a lot of GSL terrans would let hellions attack buildings for 5 seconds while scv run away in a line.......) | ||

Can someone explain this to me please? Clide opened blue flame hellions in GSL1, which confused the hell out of everyone. Especially when Artosis and Tasteless were hyping him like crazy. It's probably some kind of meta game thing in the TSL house. Where their terrans would open up early macro style expo, then they'll only really have reactored marines, which would get decimated by blue flame hellions. Unfortunately for clide, the wonderful terrans in GSL1 would 1 base M&M Tank push, and that just roflstomped him all over the place. So yes, Clide is the best player in the world and he rode the DeLorean at 88mph back in time to tell him self about meta game shifts. | ||
