In losers/winners bracket, you have the right to lose ONCE. So there's twice as many rounds in the LB, like 1/4 finals, then again 1/4 finals again with the 4 guys tossed out of the winner bracket 1/4. At the end you have a winner of the WB, and a winner of the LB (where there is actually two finals) and they play each other. Ofc the guy from the WB either start with 1-0, or the guy from LB has to win 2 boX (cause the guy from WB still has the right to lose once, too) player ABCDEFGH 1/4 WB A > H B > G C > F D > E 1/2 WB A > B C > D 1/2 LB1 H > E G > F 1/2 LB2 B > H D > G WB Finals A > C LB finals 1 B > D LB Finals 2 B > C Grand Final : blabla Standings : 1 : A 2 : B 3 : C 4 : D 5/6 : H/G 7/8 : E/F | ||

The game has evolved this tactic is not going to work anymore unless you get lucky. 4-1 vs IdrA begs to differ. Protoss has some disgusting 1base timings, no reason not to utilize them. Tyler has said over and over that he's tried playing standard macro game but ultimately he finds 'abusing' the race to be more effective, at least in the current state of the game. I suppose any random player could get into the last few players of MLG. | ||

Do you know how difficult it is to expo PvZ? P's do all-ins for a reason. Plus, any random player put in a national lan-style tourney(well Bnet in this case -_-) will not even come close to performing. | ||
