It didn't work because of the rocks, not because of the stalkers. In PvZ you have like 3ish minutes from when Zerg starts mining gas to when they can have speed for their zerglings. That means you have 3 minutes before they can surround your stalkers and you have a lot of time to deal damage. His opening was great, but he forgot about the rocks. TLO played well also.

Does TLO seem weaker than normal?

is that Response behind Kiwikaki?

that Kiwikaki build would have meant a GG without the backdoor rocks on blistering sands.

Game 2 : Steppes of war
TLO @ Upper right Kiwi @ Bottom left

How the fuck is that a good comeback? I'm so confused at that game lmao.
Right at the beginning when the 2 stalkers came out for Kiwi, there were 8-10 lings hitting the rocks, if he just ran those lings in, instead of hitting rocks he would've killed so many probes making the game time be cut in half.
He didn't use those lings to defend or do a ling runby [ when warpgate research wasn't finished ] and there were only 2 stalkers on the entire map. I mean granted you are distracted by the expo attack but wow that was some mindblow @ TLO not using those lings at all and just letting them hit the rock instead of running straight into the open ramp.

There's a massive difference in stalkers with & without blink. Without blink they fail miserably vs zergling masses. Quite a zany all-in by KiwiKaki cutting probes just to mass stalkers. Didn't like this play.

if he hadnt kill the rocks kiwi wouldve had a easy cruise.
stalkers are insanely good vs Z since outside of mass speedlings they do well vs pretty much evrything.

kiwikaki shouldve known that as soon as speed is finished, u can no longer pressure with stalkers. pretty terrible mistake

Yeah, the thing is that you have to play according to the map, not doing what you do in any map

Man this tournament is so loaded, awesome games so far

That kind of build from Kiwi would have owned someone like Idra, but TLO is just so good at adapting to crazy shit
Dont be naive, the only reason TLO won that game is because there was a backdoor on that map, if there hadnt been a backdoor kiwi would have had a huge advantage

Seriously that kinda mistake is laughable at this level. Kiwi deserves to advance.
