I think djWheat brings nice professionalism to the casting here at DC, he's got nice flow of bringing you into the game, and passes the commentating off with good questions to Day9 the type of commentating I like to hear. I'm not a big fan of JP, I feel like he's better at being a post-game interviewer or something along those lines, maybe even a 3rd commentator which I think will finally come to SC2 soon. Just take a look at the GSL Korean commentators.
What you guys think?
Sometimes they say utterly ridiculous things. For example: qxc V Sen match - on metalopolis I believe - qxc was running some helions through Sen's natural. Sen just kept his drones mining and Wheat said "excellent drone control by Sen, avoided the helions" and all I thought was "what?..."
And some of the commentary on Protoss players especially makes it really clear to me that they fail to understand the basics of P BO's and decision making etc.
That said, it's not important. Wheat has a good energetic style which I enjoy far more than Artosis and than Tasteless. Even though he obviously understands less than those two, he's a lot more entertaining. And providing entertainment is the commentator's job imo. I can see what's actually happening myself. It's why I enjoy Korean commentators over others. I don't understand a word they're saying, but the excitement in their voice is all I need.
All English commentators are sub-par compared to Klazart however.
Are you serious? Klazart? He's exciting but his screaming gets kinda annoying. But each to their own I guess.

How could you not know about MLG Dallas?
Fair question. I haven't been following the scene that closely except for the GSL. There also seems to be a lot of tournaments so I've been too lazy to get an overview over the most 'important' ones if u will.
Fair answer.
Welcome to the fold. At least you didn't find it on the last day right?

and at least you dont have a thesis to work on enjoy the matches I know I have been at the expense of sleep but sleep is for the weak (or sane)
This just in: MLG fails to resume gameplay coverage in time!
man people complain about anything. so far MLG has put on some great matches today and are casting a shitload of games. no reason to complain over a 5 minute delay.
i don't think he was exactly making a big deal out of it
but the reason he brought this up is that its a very common trend
hence the sarcastic "breaking news"
anyways being late can never be as bad as it was for blizzcon
