The 1 set idra VOD is utter bulshit. The camera shown nothing of what the comentators are talking about,. Probably the cam is from the korean comentators.

ive watched a gomtv event before and usually someone else is controlling the camera while the casters just cast, so,, hopefully get their act together

I ended up being able to watch 90% of the game uninterupted on the SQ stream. There were some issues, but overall I was quite impressed for the first night. It will be interesting to see the viewer numbers from GSL (I hope they publish them). Once they have ironed out the issues I see myself buying season passes to future tourneys.

Games were good, looking forward to more!

I'm glad I purchased the VODs instead of staying up and trying to watch a live stream at 6 AM that apparently has technical issues as well. They've gotten them uploaded pretty fast ~3 hrs after the event and the quality is acceptable.

I was pretty happy with the LQ, but I'll probably end up buying the HQ season ticket.

Artosis and Tasteless's commentary was great. Maybe some issues here and there, but it's the first two sets huge amount of games they'll be casting.

As for the results, they were pretty much expected.

How the commentators are able to use a US Version of the client on the korean battle.net and no other player can do it? (without using relocalizar from TL). Are they using the relocalizer?

If they can work out the technical issues and make the VODs higher quality then it should definitely be worth the $20. This morning I had to watch a restream because it was so laggy.

Tasteless announced before the game that he'd be controlling the cam, with Artosis also having a screen to look around if Tasteless misses something. Pretty sure what happened was that there was a mixup and they were broadcasting Artosis screen at first, hence why the camerawork was so bad at first!

Anybody know if/when/where they will post the interviews post game? Just interested to see how they run that. Otherwise a great start, could have been a lot worse, the camera thing was obviously just some confusion on which observer to broadcast, but thats ok they didn't let it happen again, and every other game they switched to tasteless very quickly.

HQ stream AND vods refuse to even play. If you wait 20 minutes it starts playing, goes for five, and then force-closes your web browser....... Glad I spent my 20 bucks on this piece of shit. Wow.

High-definition starts at 720p, but I guess that's why they call it "High Quality" instead. Still, happy that SC2 has so much love for it already.

You know that the GSL is like sponsored by blizzard. They can do everything :/

I´m more intressted if they have a local bnet server or if we´ll see battlenet going down in the middel of GSL. Maybe would get them to freaking implement lan if even their sponsored tournement get owned by the lack of it.
