From the sound of it, they had a contract with him up until the end of this month. Most likely the cost of letting him go early was around the same as the cost of just putting him up and letting him play SC2 until it expired. Plus, it never hurts to stick your toes in the water to see if it's nice; IdrA could have been CJ's toes for SC2 and they've decided they want to wait a little longer to dive in. (Edit: Beaten! There is a lot going on behind the scenes that is hard to speculate in the kespa vs gom/blizzard situation. If Kespa is going to completely sit out of sc2 then Idra has no reason to be on the CJ team and they have no reason to keep him. Obviously, all we can do is speculate but I'd say seeing as Idra is leaving CJ they wont be jumping to sc2 for a bit, if at all. | ||
