DRG = scariest player in the tournament by far. Supernova is RO16 Code S, and he beat MC and Leenock to get there. Kas is one of the best foreign terrans, total monster. Think this group beats group A, just because DRG is too good. Maybe MMA could beat him, probably not anyone else though.

In fact the groups are actually fairly evenly sprinkled with big names and mid tier players alike.

I guess it all depends on what "deadly" means... Group D has a few deadly players, but I think is the easiest to predict. So IMO Group D is only "deadly" for the 3 in that group that I'm fairly sure are going to lose. Group C however, I have no idea who will advance from that group and thus, I might consider to be "deadly" for all the players, lol.

Remember that 3 advance from each group...

group A and D man this is looking as fierce as ipl4 groups. Also, I'm no idra fanboy but give the man some credit for putting the effort in Korea. Success does not in any way define skill. I wish more people would realize that instead of going crazy about the so called "upsets" in a BO3... lol

Group C all the way. Any of those players could make it out, and they're all amazing. Not the best, but the most deadly group all together

It has 4 koreans in it, but none of these is really a top player atm. Do you really think any of these has the skill level of DRG, Supernova, MMA or MC? Actually, I think Dima has a pretty good chance of advancing there as I think he is better than most of the koreans.

I would have to vote for B in terms of difficulty predicting whos going through.

MC is still a code S level protoss.
Nerchio and Ret have forever been among the best players in europe.
Elfi is actually in the group he can win. His PvP has forever been able to upset anyone and at assembly he was extremely close to beating Stephano 2-0. He is in a group where his best matchups are the only ones he needs to play.

i couldn't pick one out voted a but all of the groups are crazy good. a b and d seemed like the best but c has a bunch of close in skill players. really looking forward to this.

They are actually quite close groups

D has fest real and kas who are all better then socke killer and strelok respectively

then idra and JYP are a bit meh atm

and then violet and MMA and DRG and supernova are all great players

over all i think D has the edge, with the weaker players in that group all being bettter then the 4 weaker in A. And then i think DRG and supernova are better then violet and MMA

but thats just my thoughts :p

It's like Idra & Kas vs DRG & Supernova.
Foreigners vs Koreans. It. Shall. Be. Epic.

A and D look the craziest to me, even if some of the players in those groups don't have huge wins under their belts.

I wouldn't count out group B though... Ret, nerchio, MC... that's pretty sick. Don't know much about elfi and sound (only seen him @ HSC) so I dunno.

I guess I'll just have to watch IEM WC! ... when ever it's on :S
