It's nice to see Jaedong changing with the times and abandoning 3hatch muta for builds dependent on the map and the opponent. 2hatch muta+fast 3rd gas on Blue Storm, 2hatch muta on Othello, and then the 3hatch before pool on Katrina are almost perfect responses to Flash's 14cc and 1rax FE builds.

Flash, on the other hand, seems to be stagnating. I never thought I'd say this a year ago, but he could use a little more cheese in his diet, or at the least more one base play. It doesn't matter how perfectly he macros if his opponents have locked on to his timings. I hope he doesn't just live up to his name and just disappear, but that's precisely what will happen unless he starts flipping through the rest of the terran playbook.

Jaedong really dominated this time but that doesn't mean it's over for Flash. From the way I see it, Flash has gotten too used to thinking he's unbeatable and as a result, tries the same macro builds over and over. If you remember from last year, Flash was the one being aggressive against Jaedong and now, it's the other way around. He just needs to learn that 1-rax CC or 14CC don't always work and mix up his play a bit more. As long as he isn't too psychologically crushed by his recent defeats, I think Flash will continue to co-dominate with Jaedong.

As was previously stated; FlaSh like BiSu suffered greatly after losing at the top of their power, he hasn't played the same ever since he lost to Luxury. Hopefully he will bounce back because I think he's a very good player.

Flash really did not seem to attack this final with much energy at all. Jaedong lifted, Flash did not. : (
