The Open Bracket is really stacked this time and it seems to be much more interesting than the Pool Play (except for group D) because there are many players that cannot keep up with the skill level.
They should work on the system so that players who keep going 0-10 in MLGs for monthsget thrown back into the Open Bracket

Great preview write. I agree with most of the open bracket comments about the players but I think DeMusliM deserves more credit than say SaSe or TheStC. Regardless, there are some great open bracket newcomers that may make this MLG even more exciting than the last one.

I agree. The fact some players are able to constantly lose(I feel as though the point system MLG uses should have some deterioration due to bad results over and over) but yet are able to basically get a free pass by still having group play and not have to play in Open Brackets is a little iffy.

To be honest I was underwhelmed by this particular preview. The pool play section in particular was just a bunch of analogies to old school video games, but the analogies didn't make much sense to me.

Maybe it's just because I didn't play those games, but I wasn't sure what the point was or what you guys were going for by making those analogies.
