What do you think of Protoss' position in SC2 at the moment, and who are the players you have an eye on as you continue to improve your game?

I hope he gets matched with Tester in GSL2.

I don't really like HuK, especially after seeing him give an interview with a hoody over his head on MLG, his manners will need a lot of improvement for his stay in Korea.

I wouldn't anticipate him making it through the qualifiers for it to be an issue of him making TL look poorly. Though I'm pretty disappointed they go from picking class act players like TLO/Jinro people who are respected and liked, then they throw a person like HuK on the team. I remember when he whined about the king of the beta cause the game was lost where he actually managed to win against tester and it hurt his ego to have everyone think he got 2-0'd instead of 2-1'd like he did every other game..

Then he goes and makes outrageous claims like being the next boxer when hes a 1 trick 4 gate pony..

Have you even watched him play lately? He did 4 gate builds because he had a shitty computer. Now he has a machine that can support late-game and he is doing all sorts of builds. Pay attention and be open-minded, you might learn something instead of sitting here and bitching.
Why would you ever choose failure, when success is an option.

An immovable object would have to have an inertia that was infinite, and therefore infinite mass. Such an object would collapse under its own gravity and create a singularity.
I.e - Huk would smash that shit.

Sad news to me. Cant watch huk playing without falling asleep. Hes on the top of the boredomness, always doing the same standard things without any talent in pvp and pvt and only 1 build vs zerg.
The guy is famous for his mothership rush on drewbie and his very useful rally point thing.
Kiwikaki is by far a more interesting, talented player imo.

HuK is good and all but isnt he a bit BM for TLAF? hoodie and gum during interviews n all?

Are you 75 years old lol? It's not the 1950's anymore. You can wear a hoodie and chew gum without being bad mannered

Its completely disrespectful to both the viewers and the tournament. I knew good manners were out of fashion but god why can't we have more whitera's in the scene.

Well I think white-ra is about 75years old so that would explain it:D. I don't find anything wrong with wearing a hoodie since he's stated that he plays in a hoodie at home and wearing it makes him more comfortable and relaxed at live events and I don't think it's fair to expect people to change clothes in between games and interviews. The gum is just bad etiquette however you look at it though but it's not really disrespectful or offensive just a lack of self-awareness I guess.

Hoodie fine, HOOD UP bm.

Agreed completely.

There's been a stark difference in HuK's play since before and after MLG/IEM. I've really been impressed with how he's opened things up and expanded his game ever since. If you wrote him off as a one trick pony in the past and haven't paid attention lately, I suggest you give him a shot because he really looks good.

Awesome, I've watched some of HuK's replays from his camera view and he has insane speed and multi tasking ability, I think in time he will be a player like IdrA who can be compared to the top Koreans! My favorite player to learn from besides Tester!

Bad choice for the first pic though

Why are some people saying HuK isn't mannered?

From every replay and event I saw him play he has been mannered.
That is a big part of why I respect him and he is my favorite player.

Btw him rushing mothership against Drewbie on Steppes of War doesn't count.
I want to fuck Soulkey with a Zelderan.

wow, where does all this huk-hate come from? I've never seen him being BM...well...like ever; it's also funny when random no-names around here throw around phrases like "he will never qualify" when many top-players on the other hand think he is one of the best protoss-players in NA/EU right now

I like Kiwikaki's play; but Huk took him down in the MLG-finals after all, you can't easily overlook that; also Huk's PvZ is easily more versatile, the last games I saw he went for gateway+immortals+templar, while Kiwikaki pretty much sticks to mass-blink-stalkers and either wins or gets owned after a big fight is lost

Based on HuK's prefomrnace in king of the beta against higher tiered players than hes been playing recently, I couldn't see him being much assistance to TL in Korea. He would simply be outclassed, and probably be eliminated in the RO64 if he even made it that far.

I have problems classifying him on the same level as TLO, Idra or half of the Koreans playing in the GSL.

Hmm, I don't see how he's "outclassed" compared to the rest of TL. He'll definately add a ton; except for TLO, he'll be the best player on the team.

I think a lot of people think Huk is bm because he says a lot of strange stuff in his replays but I think that's just him being unique. There's no malice there.

Huk is probably better than jinro and, with the current state of zerg, I would also bet that Huk is more effective than Ret and Haypro. Right now I think hes clearly a tier below the top Korean tosses like Tester, InCa and NexGenius but we've seen TLO's play get much better in the month or so that hes been in Korea and I would assume that it will be the same for Huk. We know that he plays a ton and now he'll be playing a ton in a much more structured environment with better competition. All in all I think it's a good pickup for Liquid and I hope Huk does well.
