Like I said - there could be plenty which I can't know about. But other examples would be that it can be quite hard to mislynch SL and they thought disformation would be easier. Or that mafia thought he is 3P.

Koshi and HF are good NKs for previously stated reasons. They're aggressive and good Town, stubborn in annoying way if you're mafia, and they both had suspicion on them which made a medic save unlikely. Although I wonder who medic saved if not them. Maybe rayn. Idk.
Anyways, I don't think we should dwell on that until after the flip. Xatalos's mafia role could give some important insight about how mafia felt EoD.
If he's a strong role, they probably tried to defend him moreso than they would if he were just a goon.
The other positive is that the real cop should have some interesting checks by tomorrow if he/she survives. Maybe even wait another day to have three checks. Also if we have a tracker or something that would be cool

If xata was a cop he would fight harder to stay alive, or else he would be breaking TL mafia rules of playing to his win condition.
If he's mafia however, it makes perfect sense to just cause as much confusion as possible.

SK doesn't necessarily mean a smaller mafia team. It makes the game harder for both town and mafia depending on what the SK is doing.
We will watch Vivax. So far he acted reasonably towny when he was here.
