I think part of it is how they're blind picking Faker risky mids in the hope that he can outplay & hard carry, to try and get advantageous matchups for the other lanes. I'm honestly not sold on this strategy at this point because the other lanes are getting behind even with help. SKT's macro strategy just seems off, and it's back to the hope Faker carries again, except that the other mids have gotten better.
