That's slightly incorrect, sword and stealths forfeit their prior points due to changing 3+ players. So sadly neo-sword has no shot.

At least, this roster has a chance to stay more than 3 months, it's good start already.

Swift.

Anyway, K still have chance to get direct spot to Worlds, rofl. Not like i'm worried for T1 in qualifiers against half-dead NJWS/random result KT A, but still.
Also, S is higher than K this season, lel.

Still.

- If K win NLB and finish with 525 points and we just assume that Rock doesn't oneshot Acorn on toplane, so Blue advance into semifinals:

a) White lose to Blue in semifinals and beat S for third place - 525 as well, tiebreaker.
b) White lose to Blue in semifinals and lose to S, S literally save the spot for K, don't achieve anything by themselves.
c) Blue lose to White, White advance as #1 in OGN circuit, K is going to qualifiers.

- If K don't win NLB, so finish with 470(490,510).

With 470 - #3 in OGN circuit.
With 490 or 510 - back into b-point.

For KT A, going into finals confirm their spot in qualifiers, so if Blaze mess up in NLB, we can easily see KT vs KT in first round of qualifers assuming that they're same as last season.
Same with S, so first semifinal is for place in qualifiers, second - for #1 seed in Korea.

Also, if Blue loses to Stealth, K and Blue might meet up in NLB Semifinal to play for the direct spot at worlds.

Top 2 go. 3-6 + 1 Master's winner team play weighted playoffs for 3rd spot.

Hold on, if both samsung teams qualify for top 2 (which is likely) then what happens to the master's slot?

Ha! You thought Kespa predicted that would happen? I doubt they know.

Maybe 7&8 do a series for it. Idk.

In twist of fate, Easyhoon and Co get spot as #2 team in Masters and then sweep qualifiers.

On the subject of top class non-Samsung players, this was Deft's choice for each of the positions that was not from his organization.

Top: Ssumday (large champion pool, strong laning)
Jungle: KaKAO (good mentality, his aggressive style suits the current metagame)
Mid-lane: Faker (the best non-Samsung player in Deft's eyes)
AD Carry: Bang (strong laning)
Support: PoohManDu (needs an older presence to take of younger players like Bang)

That's kinda surprising on the Ssumday pick, everything I've heard is that he's average.

I also find the mandu pick quite weak. Even a risky pick like Cain or Wolf would be better.

Says who? Ssumday is one of the most mechanically gifted top laners around.

people never credit ssumday because they remember that he was bad before, even though now he's really, really good. he manhandled save in the quarterfinals after kt learned to ban gragas - his mundo in particular just destroyed njws late game in game 3.

While Mandu isn't the best when it comes to mechanics and and champion pool, I think he rounds of a team pretty well. He has experience and all that. When Piglet wasn't slumping bad I always had the idea that it was Mandu that kept Piglet in line and stopped him from doing stupid shit. When SKT went with Casper for a couple of weeks you could see Piglet still had the mechanics right but he made a lot of mistakes when it came to decision making.

Mandu is still one of the best supports in Korea. Can´t think of many, I would consider better than him. maybe 2 or 3.

Ogn is braindead with this bracket

If blue win quarter they automatically qualify for worlds, so white 100% semi-finals i mean blue wont probaly try hard vs their sister team.
