Why do they have two subs?

Supposedly we can expect to have a dedicated observer, use of the smart board touch screen for analysis, replays, etc. etc. MLGLee was on the trinity force podcast and he revealed a bunch of stuff about the arena http://trinityforcepodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/TFORCE39.mp3

MLG's matches start in the afternoon but they want to get to NYC tonight rather than fight through traffic tomorrow morning. And the reason for that? Schedules too close to each other, therefore conflicting with TSM plans for not having to drive several hours through traffic and immediately start playing games with no downtime.

Pretty sure the only reason TSM downplays it is because there not in it. From what I've read, they've been asked multiple times and turned it down. Something along the lines of it not worth the time for 1 big long tournament when there is the possibility of winning a lot of short ones.

GSL can take a long time, you have to plan for the long-term, as opposed to showing up for a weekend and leaving when its over.

Dignitas/CLG are thinking about the future. The fact that every EU/US team who gos to korea and scrims gets destroyed for the first dozen games shows that there is a big gap, If not in pure skill then atleast is tactics used. The practice there is worth a lot to a teams experiance.

Like couple of weeks ago i was watching TOO:s stream, and some korean dude asked him about when they were going to scrim, and TOO said to ask Regi or something like that... Of course the ping is totally different, and i cant remember the name of the guy, but still, i doubt it will come as a full surprise.

I am almost certain it is because they will take a MONSTER hit to their streaming/youtube revenue if they to Korea for 3-4 months. Smart decision by them to decline actually.

It makes complete sense though when they make a lot of money streaming + do decent or win small tournaments + ad revenue on the their site. why risk it all when even if they win it wouldn't be enough? I can see the prestige a bit, but not at that much of a risk.
