Thanks MLG for the first LOL arena backed up with great production, lots of funmoments to remember as well like:

"Big Bomb comes to his Face!" or Dan "Analytics" Dinh

I am really happy that MLG invited Azubu Blaze to be honest. I think before this event TSM though that they had a legitimate shot at S2 Finals but this arena was not just a wakeup call to them but all western teams that downplayed the strength of the korean teams and forces them to work harder if they really wanna have a shot @ season 2 Finals in 2 months.

I don't think S2 could possibly go to an NA team too. CLGna will likely lose to a TSM/M5 if they face them in the bracket but will have a better shot against the Koreans than TSM imo. Whereas TSM can beat CLGna and probably any other EU teams ('cept for M5 and maybe CLGeu) but I don't think they'll have much luck against any of the Koreans or Chinese teams due to inexperience against them.

I'll probably have to resort to rooting for an EU team...

to be honest, i think alot of the issue with tsm's performance this tourney was just that regi played like shit. azubu played great, no doubt about that, but tsm's performance always depends on how well regi is playing. whenever they do well, regi is playing like a god and carrying the shit out of them, but can anyone name how many times tsm won when regi is playing like a retard?

I don't think regi plays well.... at all. Maybe he used to, but I think he should retire and make TONS OF MONEY off his website instead.

He's not so bad that he has to retire. He should honestly stop playing aggressive champions and play more Karthus while learning champions like Anivia. His aggressive style isn't aggressive anymore, it's just dumb.

What hurt TSM the most this tournament was Chaox underperformed imo.

I love how he focuses so much on mobility. Either picking someone with built in mobility like Shyvana or building boots of mobility on junglers like Maokai. Allows him to seemingly be everywhere.

Azubo basically went 6-0 vs TSM. They were the favorites to me, but I didnt think they would be that dominant.

I'm actually pretty happy with this tourney, in spite of the 3-0s, it restored my faith in LOL's proscene. Too often in the past I've seen results that left me feeling like the best team didn't win the tournament.

That's because Regi is the playcaller.
You have to play so decisively in LoL and this is an extremely important skill that should never be ignored.
He really is the thing that sets them apart from other NA teams. When it works it looks amazing, when it doesn't work it looks ridiculous. Today it looked ridiculous because Blaze are just WAY ahead in the meta and understanding of the game.

Well, that didn't seem very challenging for Blaze. Hopefully Xenics Storm puts up a better fight at OGN.

I hope we see more Korean teams in western tournaments.

No, 4. They are those 2 plus Taipei Assasins. Another Asian team will also come through the Asian online qualifiers.

It's only 2 next week. http://www.ign.com/ipl/all/news/are-you-ready-ipl-face-off-san-francisco-showdown/

You're probably thinking of the IPL5 qualifiers.

Most teams have a weak link or one stand-out star. It's amazing how everyone on Blaze seems to be equally talented.

Also, FantasyStar's statement, "Hi, I'm Reapered, best solotop in the world" is a parody of Reginald when he stated "Hi, I'm Reginald best mid AP in the world."

Haha oh that's hilarious.

Also, I just realised that Black from MLG Summer Arena was invited because they won the online qualifier MLG Summer Open Online Qualifier EU beating Curse.EU 2-0. And Curse.EU beat Fnatic 2-0. I really wonder how their full 5 line up would have performed.
It's like, "Is the Federation's Mobile Suit some kind of monster?"

Is there any way to watch the final if I don't have MLG Premium?
I have GSL premium, so if someone has MLG Premium and want to switch just PM me, we can lend each other our account for one day and all will be fine .
