I mean veigar is too squishy to be relied on. He can instancely kill one people on Dig, so what? Corky or Irealia or Morgana will just bust them down, and Mundo do massive damage in late game too. On the other hand, Maokai is not that good late game since hes AP based tank, in late game AD based tank is much more useful, just look at Irelia. That nexus steal was a good move but you can actually do that with only one AD.
