Qualifier #1 - Championship Defense
The North American Heroes of the Storm season is about to kick off with qualifiers just around the corner. The hype is real surrounding the scene, and fans abroad are looking forward to seeing some of their favorite teams back in action once again.
It has been three weeks since we all watched Bob Ross Fan Club bust into the competitive scene at Heroes Rising and take down the World Champions, Cloud9. This crowd-funded tournament gave us all a sneak peek of what we have in store for us in the upcoming competitive North American season. Cloud9, Tempo Storm, Bob Ross Fan Club, Team Blaze, Panda Global, and five other talented rosters showed at Heroes Rising that they are ready to make their mark in 2016, but only time will tell who will represent NA after the Spring Regional finals on February 28th in Los Angeles.
The road to the 2016 World Championships are just beginning. The culmination of countless hours spent practicing and training will lead to the eventual title of Heroes of the Storm World Champion -- a title that has only ever resided in NA to date. You can be certain that Cloud9, Bob Ross Fan Club, Team Blank, eLevate, Panda Global, Tempo Storm, and COGnitive all plan to snatch the title by leading their respective teams into the Nexus for not only their individual glory, but the glory of all North America!
The next qualifier kicks off tomorrow at 17:00 GMT (+00:00). The action will be casted by several different casters live. You can also find the bracket and additional team information here. Make sure to tune in and cheer for your favorite NA teams as they vie for the first two spots in Los Angeles.
