Extended Internet and computer issues mean that basically all games are down for the time being. They are officially close to 3 hours behind for Heroes. If you want more updates, you can follow us on Twitter @LiquidHeroes. @COG_Iakona is also giving some good updates right now.

Streaming it at work. 11 viewers on twitch. oef.

Watching on http://www.twitch.tv/happyzerg MVP Black vs TL + Show Spoiler +TL just lost game in 12 min on Cursed Hollow. Apparently TL won first game? Didn't see it and chat is only partially english and watching with no sound at work.

Oh wow, they are not even using third party sites for the picks and bans, they are doing it in chat before the game... What year is this, 2004...?
This is looking like a disaster. :/

Had no luck finding any streams since TL vs MVP black. Chinese direct links blocked at work so don't know if they are working or not.

We tried until today to get the permission to stream the tournament in english (ideally with a cleanfeed that was discussed at some point) but unfortunately it didn't work out. It's pretty difficult to communicate and given the problems they seem to have on site I guess it's fair to say they had other things to deal with :-/

Shame... I'd to have liked to see the games.

Well that hype died quickly...

With 3 NA teams out, no official stream to be found, terrible computer problems, and organizational issues abounding it's tough to even follow the news of WCA, let alone watch the games when they can be found. WCA has some amazing teams and what would be one of the best ever tournaments if done by a different organizer.
I mean this about sums it up:

Gold League was very well run. They had very few technical difficulties, the stream was professional and decent quality (compared to something like the GSL free stream for like 3 years), and the hype they created was really strong. Certainly nothing beats Korean esports, but the Chinese did a good job of mimicking it with that tournament, and I hope to see more of that.

eStar is putting on a clinic in how to keep and extend a lead once you have it.
|
Legitimately, TL lost one even fight and then got caught in one bad maw and otherwise played great, and eStar gave them no openings whatsoever to try to get back into it.
