It has now been running for 30 years, starting in 1975 with "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger" 秘密戦隊ゴレンジャー. THese only last one year, then are replaced with the next one in line. Cast changes, story changes, etc. I definitely remember thinking "wtfgay" when I saw powerrangers for the first time in the states. I think I watched a few of these when I was young. 13 高速戦隊ターボレンジャー - Turboranger 14 地球戦隊ファイブマン - five man 15 鳥人戦隊ジェットマン - jet man 16 恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー - jyuuranger 17 五星戦隊ダイレンジャー - dai ranger so I watched from roughly 1989 to 1993. Sounds about right, since I would be 4 years ~ 8 years old then. | ||

(and this plot during this anime I think is only during thei elementary school years, and maybe junior high, which i dont think reaches the world stage yet) but in any case, I see your point  | ||

Tatooed Teenage Alien Fighters - I swear to Christ, I thought I was the only person alive on this planet that saw that show. Everytime I tried to describe to someone, they wouldn't have ANY idea about what I was talking about. This was the worst/best/worst again Power Rangers imitation EVER. Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad - I remember I had a toy from this series and that it had one of the Lawrence brothers in it. This was around the time that show called Blossom was on TV and my sister thought the Lawrence brothers were SO HOT, so we would watch this show together sometimes. VR Troopers - I have very fond memories of watching this everyday after school. Come on folks, it had a TALKING FUCKING DOG. And no, I did not forget about the Big Bad Beetleborgs. I just didn't post it because I didn't like that show. | ||
