I really loved Teknoman so much.. but none of my friends know it ![]() I know "of" the show from like, some japanese blogs referring to it and stuff -___-. Btw it seems that it is tekkaman blade, not teknoman. (oh wait, okay they changed the name for western countries) something that appears to be an original rip made in 1992 (early 90's was my guess from the animation style) http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/宇宙の騎士テッカマン says also that the "original" was made back in 1975 before this remake.

An iconic work of the 80's. Current Japanese pros often cite this as their initial motivation for playing soccer. (much like today's basketball players cite slam dunk) http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/キャプテン翼 Op Ganbare! Kickers <-- didnt even know this existed ![]() http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/がんばれ!キッカーズ Op edit: I am surprised at how many of these old japanese animes made it to non-asian countries, even before the current anime craze. Never even knew that Captain tsubasa went to germany :O

I am sure many of you know the show speedracer. Yea, that show with that car and that racing thing. It's been in some commercials too (most recently for Geico I think). Anyways for the last 10 years ever since I caught a glimpse of it for the first time, I was convinced that it was made in the States, much like transformers... Today my world was turned upside down. TV opening, マッハGoGoGo - Mach GoGoGo from 1967 Japanese Wikiedpia link for the anime http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/マッハGoGoGo English WIkipedia link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_Racer Again, I am in a state of utter shock ![]()
