For example, this guy showed up and made one post but got banned for it, because apparently the subject was banned from discussion before he saw the information ![]() And a thread on the subreddit was locked by FG investers/employees (_Spartak_) for pointing it out - https://old.reddit.com/r/Stormgate/comments/1hxob05/i_was_banned_for_raising_my_negative_opinion_on/

You wouldn't have even heard of this if it wasn't on reddit and it is clearly not removed or banned. A few trolls who are out to stir up shit and nothing else get banned but obviously not for "discussion". Anyone can look at reddit and how negative it has been about the game and FG for months to see no discussion or critical discourse is being banned. Also, there are no FG staff in the moderation team.

That's another attempt to discredit and silence people fielding legitimate discussion about the game and company to protect his own financial interest, not what actually happened. Not going to argue this with someone on payroll as it's not worth our time and there is less than zero credibility, but it's unfortunately neccesary to post this to inform those who aren't aware of those undisclosed links and actions. Investing in a company, doesn't make you an employee of that company. As I said here, if I get profit from that investment (looking unlikely lol), I will donate it to a charity. You are lying about moderation of those platforms and resorting to personal attacks because you know you are lying. Hope this helps.

Yeah, wonder who sent those botters that tripled the player count and pushed the game up a review score category right before the RTS event of the quarter?

P.S. We're reaching Jason Bourne levels of conspiracies and action here, nice. Too bad my good pal MegaBuster is not here anymore, I sure loved his flaming - guy had no chill.

At this point it's like living in LA and not having natural disaster insurance. It shouldn’t really be necessary IMO as most of their PR gaffes could have been avoided with some basic common sense. If you’re some giant organisation, or a political party yeah you need good PR as the reputation of the whole machine can be dragged down by the behaviour of people at all levels of your org and you might need some good firefighters. A decent chunk of communication or other behaviour that’s damaged Frost Giant reputationally comes direct from the C suite, who should instinctually know better. Firefighting tends to take the form of leadership disavowing the misjudgements of underlings, it’s kinda tricky to do if it’s the other way around

Some problems are tricky to navigate, some are trivially simple. Frost Giant have/had a mix of both, and yeah for the former I think benefitted My point is if you need a PR firm or outside advice to tell you that things like taking money from an enthused company claiming mere stretch goals and bonuses are at play and the game is fully funded to release, or not giving the top tier Kickstarter backers the full initial offering and releasing a new hero, your problems aren’t in lacking the outside advice. I could employ someone to accompany me and advise me not to stick my hand in any fires or hot stoves I encounter in my day, and they could excel in that job but it really shouldn’t require their employment. Frost Giant have pissed away a tremendous amount of goodwill through a baffling combination of poor decisions and poor communication. It’s not one or two instances at this stage either.

Please don't take it seriously =D It's all makings of the hater mastermind. 1. The devs get caught making fake positive reviews for themselves. 2. You hire bots to make more positive reviews. 3. Now the devs either have to self report (and get caught and removed by Steam because of their previous exploits), or they ignore it. In that case you and your hater friends report them, and they get punished. 4. If the devs don't get punished that means Steam won't react. You change all your positive bot reviews to negative, and the devs are unable to do anything. 5. Profit.

If it were any other game, I would say no one is THAT stupid. But this is FG, so I'm not so sure :D Of course, I don't believe FG, but folks are nervous RN, so they act too hasty. I'll wait till we get some more info.
