I got that, is Long Island a team or does it JUST refer to the location of New York where I assume he is from?

LI Joe has had some success at the start of SF4 with high placings in some tournaments on release. He's mostly known from other games and from running tournaments like ECT

In local arcades, especially in New York where everything is so territorial, people colloquially refer to you as "<your place of origin> <your name>". Joe has always called himself "iloveujoe" but everyone else in the arcade always called him "Long Island Joe" and those names tend to stick with you in the scene.

But you can win with Nash without knowing all the options in all the situations. If you do know them, you're Infiltration.

He flew under the radar due to not attending a bunch of tournaments, but everyone in the scene knows the guy and as far as i know he always placed respectable in the tourneys that he did enter. He also is a TO. He repped the U.S @ SBO 2012 I believe.
