Might pop in sometime once I make a Garena account. I never got around to it since my internet back home was so shitty it didn't matter whether I used BNet or a client like Garena ... I'm afraid once I go to Garena, I'll be unable to go back to BNet too. T.T @ TheToast: Garena basically cuts down on the lag. If you want to hit me up on BNet, shoot me a PM here and I'll see when I can get to it. Also, whenever I'm on BNet and looking for games or something, I'll try to sit in a chat channel named "TeamLiquid" (no space) in US East. I'm pretty terrible though and haven't played in months. ^^;

FFA in WC3 is awesome and I played it a ton some years back and even made it in top 20 on Northrend (Europe) at one point without using any hotkeys and strategy guides. I simply made my own build and played it everytime. It was so much fun. Biggest concern if you plan on playing WC3 is the hackers. I dont know if there are still drophacks out there but if there is you should prolly stay away from the b-net servers. It was so annoying to deal with. Anyway I strongly recommend you guys to try out FFA. The maps, while old, are still great (well most of them) and you can manipulate your opponents to no end, which can lead to all sorts of backstabbing. Fantastic.

Never thought FFA scene would survive solo and at.. I haven't played FFA actively just played when nobody was around to play with or we were bored of 1on1/2on2. A few weeks ago I played on eu and in 1on1 I wasnt hacked so far or at least I didnt notice it. But in 2on2 we got drophacked like 3 of 10 games what was kinda annoying but better than before. It seems since the declining in active players on bnet the number of hackers also decreased.

To anyone that hasn't played it, DO SO! The smaller scale skirmishes and micro focus make the game a joy to play.

It was popular back when most people had no 50mbit internet or just didnt want to deal with fmle. And if somebody provided only video stream a lot of people complained because their bandwidth was insufficient to watch it lag-free. But it's worth checking out. Watching Remind vs Focus right now <3
