Arccording to GGG it's a designed limit, however they also said that they may allow more hotkeys if they feel that it benefits the game (that was back in the beta). | ||

Yeah I cast them all at once when I log in, and then remove the hotkey so I dont accidentily decast them. Usually if you're running multiple auras you dont have space for extra gems anyway. when I was talking about being restricted on hotkeys on my PvP character. For example my current set up on my main PvP character is, Left Click move-only, middle mouse is Arc to kill traps, right click is Dual Strike for singletarget, Q is Smoke Mine for utility, W is multitrap Bear Trap, E is selfcast Temp Chains, R is Whirling Blades for movement, and T is LMP Spectral Throw for a ranged attack. I would consider using a gem slot over a support gem for the hp regen totem, or maybe coldsnap traps, but since I dont have the hotkey slots its not worth trying to rehotkey things while in combat just for a little bit more diversity. | ||

I mean, sometimes theres auras and/or a culling+rarity ability in there but those don't really count. I'm also so incredibly lazy about granite uptime that I find myself not using granite/jade flasks on characters that patently need them lol. With the tentacle miscreations, using trap remote mine spectre minion dmg lmp chain, on a phys reflect map, they no longer kill themselves, so that is nice, also their damage is very similar to a bm with conc/dmg/trap/remote mine/life, the only difference being that i can put a MF mod into the bm and its not as efficient on a tentacle. Running discipline/haste/vitality/purity(which i might change to hatred just to try it out)/det/grace If I run hatred I dont have the mana to cast a curse, so thats unfortunate, but once my reduced's level I think I will For gear using solaris lorica/aursieze gloves/andvarius. 24 es ring with some resists + rarity , eye of chayula , rainbowstrides 52 es belt 250 es helm 283 es shield, and an auromvorax. Gives me 4k ES, my lowest resist being 110 Even if they nerf bms, I think its still viable, as long as snapshotting remains in the game, the tentacles don't kill that much slower, if at all, with 2 of them i think the clear speed would be very comparable. | ||

Knowing that u can get 4K es with a solaris lorica without absurd effort is making me more and more inclined to try a low-life build myself. Like, you have 750 es on items or some shit? That seems reasonably attainable (although I guess it pretty much requires a shield). PS: Does anybody else see mapping getting MORE expensive now that it seems pretty clear Corrupting maps is going to be pretty much required for high-level groups? Today's news post indicates that corrupting a map can upgrade it to the next level...  (a vaal pyramid got upgraded to a tunnel apparently). | ||

Also does trading 3x vaal pyramid to a vendor give a Tunnel? it might be related to the recipes. | ||
