yeah TBC was horrible but I don't remeber anything out of the ordinary for wotlk, but Wotlk content was "released" sooner than expected 22:00 CET instead of midnight so it might have smoothed out the connexion of the user instead of the Midnught gogogo 300k connexions hitting instantly the login server.
